Brian recently joined Global Capital View Advisors coming from New York Life and bringing over 20 years of experience in the areas of economic policy, insurance advisement, and running his own business.  After being raised in New Jersey, Brian attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst getting a degree in economics and political science followed by attending New School University in New York City earning a masters degree in public policy.

He began his career in the non-profit industry, providing heads of non-profit organizations, government agencies, and foundations with recommendations on how to best serve underprivileged communities in the United States with financial resources, partnerships, and improved data collection to make better informed decisions.  His primary focus was on labor market and workforce development issues, but also worked on projects regarding the Social Security system, the Federal budget, and the tax system.

As an avid guitar player since the age of 12, Brian changed careers and started his own business as a musician.  Along with playing over 250 live performances each year, he also recorded and released three albums, toured the east coast, opened up shows for nationally touring acts, won songwriting awards, and also helped musicians with their social media planning and careers.

What Brian is most passionate about throughout his various careers is helping others achieve their dreams, address their concerns, and putting them on a path for success.  He does this through educating clients, taking the time to get to know who they are in their personal and professional lives, and being thorough in providing well thought out recommendations for them to take action on.  As a new investment advisor, Brian comes with a compassionate demeanor, strong ethical and organizational standards, and a pride in making clients feel comfortable and confident in their financial planning.

Outside of his career, Brian has been married to his wife Sara for 7 years whom he enjoys traveling the world with and hanging out with their two cats and one dog.  After living in Philadelphia, New York City, and Washington, DC for 18 over years, he moved just outside of Charlottesville, VA in 2018 for a slower paced and better quality of life.  In his down time Brian enjoys practicing yoga, exploring Virginia wineries, cooking, skiing, kayaking, and watching baseball and football.
